Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Sky OS (“Sky,” “the application,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Sky OS.

Sky OS is a desktop application that provides a spatial environment for the internet. These terms govern your use of the application, our website (skyos.computer), and any related services.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Sky OS for personal or professional purposes in accordance with these terms.

You may not:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application

Redistribute, sublicense, or resell Sky OS

Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels

Use Sky OS for any unlawful purpose

Accounts

Some features of Sky OS require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.

Free Trial

Sky OS offers a 14-day free trial with full access to the application. No credit card is required to start the trial. After the trial period, continued use requires an active subscription or a Founding Member license.

Subscriptions & Payments

Sky Pro is available as a monthly ($9/month) or annual ($99/year) subscription. Founding Member licenses are available as a one-time purchase ($199) with lifetime access.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your account, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Prices are subject to change. We will notify existing subscribers before any price changes take effect on their accounts.

Refunds

All purchases are final. We offer a 14-day free trial so you can evaluate Sky OS before committing to a paid plan. Because of this, we do not offer refunds on subscriptions or Founding Member licenses.

Third-Party Content

Sky OS provides a spatial environment for accessing web applications and services. The content, functionality, and policies of third-party websites and services accessed through Sky are governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party content or services you access through Sky OS.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create or store using Sky OS, including your spaces, layouts, and configurations.

We do not claim any rights over your content. We access your synced data (such as bookmarks) only to provide the service and will not share it with third parties.

Availability & Updates

Sky OS is in active development. We may release updates, modify features, or temporarily interrupt the service for maintenance. We aim to provide a stable experience but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

We reserve the right to discontinue features or the application itself, with reasonable notice to active subscribers.

Limitation of Liability

Sky OS is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the application will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sky OS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue arising from your use of the application.

Termination

You may stop using Sky OS at any time by uninstalling the application and, if applicable, cancelling your subscription.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. In such cases, any remaining subscription period will be refunded on a prorated basis.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the application or by other appropriate means. Continued use of Sky OS after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Sky OS will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, submitted to the competent courts in the Netherlands.
