The missing Place of the internet

Sky exists for one simple reason:

Skypod sketch

We, humans, need a space.

even on the internet.

We understand the world through places.
But the internet turned into a stream —
temporary, chaotic, and abstract.

Sky is an attempt to bring that missing space.
A place where everything we do online
can live and stay.

What's Coming Next

Where Sky goes from here

Sky as the Platform

Studio space
Nostalgia space
Playroom space

Sky is a platform where different kinds of rooms can exist. Each room can look, feel, and behave differently, while running on the same Sky underneath.

Build your own space

Create spaces on the fly

Create a space, then shape it as you go. Change the layout, add objects, move things around, like you would in a real room.

The internet is a wonderful thing we humans created.

It's not a piece of software or a predefined application.
It's a space where people create extraordinary things.

Sky is an attempt to visualize the internet.

What would it look like
if we could see it?

It's not meant to be just another browser.
It's meant to be a space where people like you —

hackers, builders, architects of the internet —

can create wonderful things.
So we can see how the internet looks like.

To make this happen, it needs your support.

Sky is currently built independently.
And there's no company or fund behind it.
But the vision is big.
Therefore it requires a lot of time and dedication.

So if this is something that makes sense for you —
Please join and lets build it together!

P.S. If you're still reading this,
that already means something.

Questions you might have

Not everything fits in the hero section.

Sky is already usable for everyday things - browsing, reading, listening, watching, and organizing the web.
It works. And it's getting better with every update.
  • Screen sharing doesn't work inside apps.
  • Chromium isn't on the latest version yet, so some sites may behave differently than expected.
  • Streaming services like Netflix, Spotify, and others that use DRM protection don't work. YouTube Music works fine though.
I'm being upfront about this because I'd rather you know what to expect. These are all things I'm working toward.
People who care about how their tools feel, not just what they do.
People who like being part of something early, who enjoy watching something take shape and want to help it grow.
If you've ever rearranged your desk just because it didn't feel right - you'll understand Sky.
Sky is free to try for 14 days.
After that, it's $9/month or $99/year.
The founding member tier is something different - a one-time payment for lifetime access, and a way to help shape what Sky becomes.
Sky is built on Chromium, but not on the latest version yet. Until now, the focus has been on designing the core idea - the space, the interaction model, and the platform itself.
Early support helps Sky move from a solid prototype to a stable, long-term product.
Specifically, it goes toward: updating and maintaining the underlying Chromium version, improving stability and performance, building support for multiple spaces and room types, making space creation easier, faster, and more flexible, and giving the project time and focus to mature without rushing compromises.
Early supporters aren't just buying access. They're helping shape the foundation of Sky.

Sky gives the internet a place.

The rest only makes sense once you're inside.
